Communication with Compassion: “Words that Work” – Nonviolent Communication Workshop
When you speak with others, are you sure they hear what you are really saying? Wonder if it is possible to meet needs for efficiency, harmony and understanding?
The purpose of this weekend workshop is to strengthen our ability to inspire compassion and mindfully respond with compassion to others and to our-self. The Nonviolent Communication language guides us to reframe how we express ourselves and hear others by focusing our consciousness on what we are observing, feeling, needing and requesting.
A walk across Canada to raise consciousness about violence (interpersonal and systemic) and to encourage faith groups to come together to discuss how spirituality and religion can be positive forces for peace.
